...that's a good kitty...
OH MY GOD.
I never thought it would be done, but it has happened, my friends.
I've seen a series that's better than Hana Yori Dango.
-multiple gasps and screams of protest ring throughout the room-
I'm sorry, but it's true! Ya'll know that I've been wanting to see Full Moon wo Sagashite for the longest time. Well, I recieved it for my birthday, and let me tell you - never have I seen anything so beautiful. I love every single last one of the characters. I don't even know how that's possible, but it's true. I could find no true fault with any of them, which is saying a lot considering this is a shojo we're talking about, people.
FMwoS has the most beautiful plot of any series I've seen up to date, and an even better ending. It's bittersweet, but not in an Escaflowne sense - more in a sad but wonderfully fulfilling at first, and then full out cheering in happiness because it ended perfectly.
Don't you love those sort of endings?
I mean, it was just lovely. I really couldn't have asked for more besides perhaps more kissing scenes. I'm a romantic like that.

Anyway, Takuto, one of the Shinigami, is the cutest damn thing ever to be brought into the world of anime. He looks a little like Chiaki from KKJ, but I love his personality much more and he's got cat ears and a tail. I mean, it just doesn't get any better than that!
I even ended up liking Morkeo, Takuto's sorta-annoying-at-first partner. She's a bunny Shinigami - complete with rabbit ears. After a while, she really grows on ya.
And Mitsuki - the main character -...Oh Lord. If she isn't the most likeable anime character ever created then I have no idea what other people have clouding their vision. She's kind, innocent, happy, and yet at the same time sad, angry, and bitter. I mean, she's got a tumor in her throat for goodness' sake!
I bet ya'll have no idea what I'm talking about. To get the review for FMwoS so you'll know what's going on (( and will hopefully be drawn into its beauty enough to purchase it as well )), then go to THEM anime reviews and - you know what, hell. Here's the link:

If you've got half a brain, then go read the review and go straight to eBay, where I command you to spend a measly $20 to purchase this series.
Then you'll know what I mean when I say that this is the most beautiful thing to grace the planet.
