...that's a good kitty...
America is going to go down the toilet at this rate, my friends.
I mean, we've got Bush in office again.
Damn, we're screwed.
Anyway, onto a happier note. I've started writing a new story. I'd really appreciate it if everyone would go and read it. It's at my FictionPress.com profile. If you're interested, just ask me in the Tagboard or through an e-mail and I'll be sure to give it to you. ^-^
I'm sorry my post isn't very long, but I've been going through some serious ups and downs.
Last Monday I was admitted to the hospital after having an extremely bad seizure and I'm still recovering from it. Please bear with me until I'm really up and going again. That's all I've really got to say for right now. I'm sorry everyone. T-T

OH MY GOD.
I never thought it would be done, but it has happened, my friends.
I've seen a series that's better than Hana Yori Dango.
-multiple gasps and screams of protest ring throughout the room-
I'm sorry, but it's true! Ya'll know that I've been wanting to see Full Moon wo Sagashite for the longest time. Well, I recieved it for my birthday, and let me tell you - never have I seen anything so beautiful. I love every single last one of the characters. I don't even know how that's possible, but it's true. I could find no true fault with any of them, which is saying a lot considering this is a shojo we're talking about, people.
FMwoS has the most beautiful plot of any series I've seen up to date, and an even better ending. It's bittersweet, but not in an Escaflowne sense - more in a sad but wonderfully fulfilling at first, and then full out cheering in happiness because it ended perfectly.
Don't you love those sort of endings?
I mean, it was just lovely. I really couldn't have asked for more besides perhaps more kissing scenes. I'm a romantic like that.

Anyway, Takuto, one of the Shinigami, is the cutest damn thing ever to be brought into the world of anime. He looks a little like Chiaki from KKJ, but I love his personality much more and he's got cat ears and a tail. I mean, it just doesn't get any better than that!
I even ended up liking Morkeo, Takuto's sorta-annoying-at-first partner. She's a bunny Shinigami - complete with rabbit ears. After a while, she really grows on ya.
And Mitsuki - the main character -...Oh Lord. If she isn't the most likeable anime character ever created then I have no idea what other people have clouding their vision. She's kind, innocent, happy, and yet at the same time sad, angry, and bitter. I mean, she's got a tumor in her throat for goodness' sake!
I bet ya'll have no idea what I'm talking about. To get the review for FMwoS so you'll know what's going on (( and will hopefully be drawn into its beauty enough to purchase it as well )), then go to THEM anime reviews and - you know what, hell. Here's the link:
http://www.themanime.org/viewreview.php?id=278
If you've got half a brain, then go read the review and go straight to eBay, where I command you to spend a measly $20 to purchase this series.
Then you'll know what I mean when I say that this is the most beautiful thing to grace the planet.

All together now -
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!
I LIVE IN A TREE!
I SMELL LIKE A MONKEY!
AND I CAN FINALLY COUNT PAST THREE!
YAY ME!
And that would be my first and last miserably failed attempt at a birthday song for myself. Not much to say today because I've got presents to open, cake to gorge myself upon, and a bed just calling out my name. Come sleep, it says, and I'm afraid, ladies and gents, that I don't have that sort of reserve.
Just thought it might be interesting ((SNORT)) to reveal something pretty cool. Well, it's cool for me at least.
My lucky number is any number divisible by 5. Don't ask why. If you want to make it through this entry, just nod and smile, even if you disregard every word I'm saying.
So it was really funny to find out something I learned yesterday before bed:
I was born on October (10) 15th, at 5:15 in the morning. Now it just doesn't get more farfetched than that.
And now sleep beckons...oh wait...is that the smell of waffles? Hark, the scent hails me. Farewell dear friends. I am moving on to brighter horizons - horizons that promise hot breakfast platters that just reek with all the wonderfully tasty carbs I don't need. Ja ne!
- midi -

It's 2:12 in the morning, I'm hungry, and tired...but I'm also excited out of my freakin' mind! My birthday is tomorrow and I'm feeling good! To pre-celebrate, I made myself a prettier version of this webjournal that has two alternate layouts. It also shows all of the wonderful ((and sometimes perverted)) cliques I've join. -cough-yaoi-cough-
Yes, peoples, that it correct - I'm a sick, obsessed, rabid yaoi fangirl. Laugh while you can. ^~^ Mou.
I'm not exactly proud of the fact, but that's the way things are, so just leave me alone. ToT
Anywho, if you wanna see the more prettiful version of my webjournal, then please go here:
http://www.freewebs.com/thosefairytales
And if you wanna see my prettiful yaoi fanlisting that I made in an hour and a half, then go here:
http://www.freewebs.com/thosefairytales/indexayummy.html
Tell me what you think of the layouts. I worked my freakin' ass off making them. I'd write more, but I can't exactly think of anything. Sorry. Here, I'll be back in ten...
....-ten minutes later-....
Okay, I still can't think of anything. ^^() I tried, my friends, but - OH WAIT!
Apparently my parents are taking me to this awesome Sushi restaraunt for my birthday dinner. I love sushi. ^-^ I also found out what a few of the gifts I'm recieving are:
Final Fantasy ONLINE
School of Rock Soundtrack
Maroon 5 CD
Queen: Greatest Hits
A new copy of Ella Enchanted
That's all I know so far. Hell, that may even be all I'm getting. If that is all I'm getting, then it's sucky, but oh well - at least I'm getting something!
See ya'll later.
- midi -
It has been FOREVER since my last post, but I have an excuse. I'm sure that everyone uses this - in fact, I know everyone uses this excuse. It's one little word:
School.
Such a simple phrase. If you hadn't been there before you would think it to be harmless. You wouldn't be able to realize that it is, indeed, the most terrifying, evil word in the entire universe.
Okay, enough with the dramatics. I'm staying at home today simply because I had a bunch of seizures last night and it totally shot my nerve system. I'm really tired, really weak, and really pissed off for no real reason. The only consolation I have is this:
My birthday is on Friday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! I expect lots of wonderful gifts. -wink wink-
Anyway, I didn't even ask for much. My list was as follows:
1. A new copy of Ella Enchanted. The one I have is dead. Cause of death: read too many times.
2. The Jet Set Radio Future soundtrack. Gotta love Aisle 10. ((If you have no idea what I'm talking about, then please disregard that comment.))
3. Final Fantasy Online
4. The full series of Full Moon wo Sagashite.
5. The School of Rock soundtrack. That movie kicks so much ass.
6. The new Maroon Five CD.
7. Queen's Greatest Hits. ((Yes, I'm that pathetic. I love Queen. XD))
That's about it. I can't remember if there was anything else, but I doubt there was. Anyway, this is going to be the coolest week ever. I have a five day weekend, and, luckily, my birthday is right in the middle of it. I'm so psyched!!! XD
I'll see ya'll later.

Oh...my...God.
I've had that stupid song stuck in my head all FREAKIN' DAY!!! ARGH!!! -pulls at hair-
...-starts to hum unconciously to 'Do Your Ears Hang Low?' under her breath-
AH! DAMNIT! I don't cuss, but I really feel like kicking something! Anyone have a bean bag? I always feel better after kicking a really squishy bean bag...
-sighs and has her muse tie her to a tree- There. Hopefully I won't kill anything. Larc? The earphones, please.
-Larc places them over her ears and puts on "Hoshi no Suna" by Camui Gackt-
-sighs in relief- Ah, that's better.
Oh! Sorry! My muse's name is Larc, and he's a fairy. I bought him at a convenience store right down the street from my imagination.
...
NO! I'm not HIGH! What are you talking about?! I'm both offended and shocked!
Anyway - I finally got my Anime Review site finished up. Took forever, but I'm back in business! If only a few certain people would actually visit and tell me what they think...*COUGH* YA'LL * COUGH*
Hint hint...nudge nudge...wink wink...
Ah...I think - no, wait...! YES! THE SONG HAS EVAPORATED FROM MY MIND! I AM SANE ONCE MORE!
Anyway, I think I should probably get on my homework, which we all know I won't do until the last minute because I'm stupid like that. Ja ne!
....do your ears....
O.O AHHHHHH! NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have achieved what I thought to be impossible. I've been up for more than 24 hours. Can you believe it? I'm sick and I haven't been able to sleep. Usually by now I'd be out like a light, but I'm still up.
I kinda wish I could just fall asleep. -sneezes- I feel like utter crap.
Anyway, I shall tell you about what has pretty much made up my day.
My mom rented me Ella Enchanted and I watched it. I must say, I was rather disappointed. I've been reading the book for years, and it has always been one of my favorites. I was looking forward to at least a slightly faithful-to-the-storyline sort of film, but it turned out to be a major letdown. I'm so disappointed.
The sad thing is, I can't even read the book anymore. I had a copy, but I read it so much...it fell apart. I'm serious. It's freaky.
Did I mention that I love to read? Yup. I do. And, since I have nothing else to do and can't fall asleep, I shall list my favorite books:
::FAVORITE BOOKS::
1. Ella Enchanted - Gail Carson Levine
2. Daughter of the Forest - Juliet Marillier
3. Son of the Shadows - Juliet Marillier
4. Child of the Prophecy - Juliet Marillier
5. Scribbler of Dreams - Mary L. Pearson
6. The Little White Horse - Elizabeth Goudge
7. All-American Girl - Meg Cabot
8. Song in the Silence - Elizabeth Kerner
9. Crown Duel - Sherwood Smith
10. Summers at Castle Auburn - Sharon Shinn ((Sadly, the rest of her books suck.))
11. Say Goodnight, Gracie - Julie Reece Deaver ((SOOO SAD!!! T~T))
And that's all I'll list, because I don't want to bore you.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I feel as though I'm going to puke, so I shall have to bid you adi-
-runs off to the bathroom-

Hey ya'll.
HAPPY LABOR DAY!
What's happening? Good-good, glad to hear it.
I just got home from soccer practice and felt like writing an entry before I head back into the torturous Hell known as school tomorrow. I also start gymnastics tomorrow. It's so ironic.
You know, I knew it would happen sooner or later, but this is only the third practice and I've already been established the 'wierdo' of the soccer team. Not that I have a problem with that or anything - hell, I've also been the odd one out. But the rest of the players (( we're an all girls team )) and I get along pretty well despite MY differences, so it's okay. ^^
Not much to say, except that I probably should be finishing up my homework because I have to get in bed before 9:30, but screw it - I'll just stay up late. Doesn't matter much. I'm used to getting very little sleep. I can deal with it.
This weekend I decided to watch Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne. I only watched up until the episode where Fin leaves because I didn't really want to watch anything REALLY substantial. Only fun fluff. After Fin leaves it gets all serious, and I wasn't in the mood for drama.
I've already decided on a few *snort* series I want to get soon. Here they are:
::SERIES I WANT::
1. Full Moon wo Sagashite (( REALLY REALLY REALLY WANT!!! Can't emphasis REALLY enough! ))
2. Touch (( Apparently it's actually quite good! ))
3. Whisper of the Heart (( Actually, this is a Ghibli film I've wanted for a while. ))
4. Aishteruze Baby (( THIS LOOKS SO KAWAII!!!! >.< ))
5. Stellvia of the Universe
6. Saber Marionette J
7. Saber Marionette J to X
8. Pretear (( I've wanted this for quite some time. ))
9. Full Metal Panic (( I think it looks funny and the animation kicks ass. ))
10. Kodoma no Omocha (( ALSO - REALLY REALLY WANT!!! ))
Anyway, these are all the series I own: (( Can you tell I've got nothing to do? ))
::SERIES I OWN::
1. Blue Seed
2. Fushigi Yuugi - Seasons 1 and 2
3. Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040
4. Hana Yori Dango (( BEST ANIME SERIES OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!! ))
5. Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne (( Three-way ties for second-best series! ))
6. Witch Hunter Robin
7. Real Bout High School
8. Martian Successor Nadesico
9. Samurai Deeper Kyo (( Three-way ties for second-best series! ))
10. Rurouni Kenshin (( Three-way ties for second-best series! ))
11. Outlaw Star
12. Kurogane Communication ((Gosh, I hate this series. It's SOOOOOO boring.))
13. Tenkuu no Escaflowne (( YES! I SHALL CONTINUE TO REFER TO IT WITH THE JAPANESE NAME! (Inside joke; nevermind.) ))
::CLASSIC ANIME OPINIONS::
I have three groups that I've decided to list for the hell of it; I mean, since I'm getting all ANIME-Y on ya'll. They are: Classic Classics (meaning they deserve their 'classic' classification), Crappy Classics (meaning they DO NOT deserve their 'classic' classification), and Should-Be Classics (meaning they deserve to be classified as a 'classic' anime series.) Here goes:
::CLASSIC CLASSICS::
Tenkuu no Escaflowne
Cowboy Bebop
Cardcaptor Sakura (Depending on the circumstances)
Rurouni Kenshin
:CRAPPY CLASSICS:
Neon Genesis Evangalion
Sailor Moon (The first two seasons were pleasant, but then it went SERIOUSLY downhill.)
:SHOULD-BE CLASSICS:
Hana Yori Dango (Everyone knows this is my favorite anime series of all time. Hell, I'm afraid to write fanfiction or draw fanart for it for fear of shaming the series with my mediocre talent. ALL HAIL THE GREAT KAMIO YOUKO!!!! (HYD's manga-ka, for all you poor, deprived/oblivious people.) -wallows at Kamio-sama's feet-)
Rahxephon
Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne
Full Moon wo (o) Sagashite (At least, I think so. I'm not sure since I haven't seen it yet, but I'm expecting great things from FMwo/oS! What can I say? Tanemura Arina just can't seem to go wrong. She created both KKJ and FMwo/oS! She's one talented lady! ^.^)
If anyone has any argument against what I think are Crappy Classics, then please - feel free to tell me so. Also, if anyone has a series they think should be on the Classic Classics or Should-Be Classics list, then tell me!

UGH! I AM SO BORED! I HAVE NOTHING TO DO! NOTHING! ZIP! NADDA! ZILCH!
I'm so bored, I'd willingly do homework.
Which is, as the rest of the human civilization knows, taboo.
I figured that since I'm so incredibly bored, I'd tell all you lovely people about my day! XD
Okay, first - I woke up at like 5:00 in the morning since school starts at 7:00, right? Well I accidentally fall back asleep and don't wake up until 6:00. I was, theoretically, screwed, because I still hadn't taken a shower, and I refuse to leave the house in the morning if I'm not clean and don't smell good. Yesh, I am quite picky.
Well, thank the Good Lord that my bus stops at the end of my street. I made it just in time to scream for the bus driver to stop and let me on. Since the bus was so crowded, though, I had to sit with a twelvth-grade girl that kept laughing at me. I almost decked her once or twice, but instead just rolled my eyes and tried to remember that I could get banned from riding the bus to school if I did.
Life sucks sometimes, ne? - -
When we stopped at school and I could FINALLY get my ass outta there, I headed straight for Biology 9, which happens to be both my home room and first period. Convenient, ne? I sat down in my usual stool and the guy who sits next to me came in and sat down too. I'm only making a casual observation on this of course. ((Okay, okay - I'm telling you because he's one of the only three guys that have talked to me since I moved to this God-forsaken place. Everyone ignores me. XP))
Anyway, school went by in a flash. I got home and got on the internet. And here I am.
Ain't life interesting? -sighs- Sorry, I'm just tired and B O R E D. I'm having fun talking like that. XD
I don't really have much else to say so I'm just gonna get off. See you all later. ^^
- M I D I ((^.-))
YAY! I'm back! Thank the Good Lord that my parents finally decided I was fine without the computer. ((Which I, by the way, wasn't.)) Parents can be stupid like that. - -()
Anyway, I started school. It's quite...INTERESTING, to say the least. For one, I have nine-freakin'-periods. How do you fit nine periods into a regular school day? you ask.
Good question, I respond.
I'm serious. I have no idea how they do it - it's amazing. And I'm not saying amazing in a 'marvelously-wonderful-and-beautiful' type of way. More in a 'torturous-make-it-stop-before-I-die' kind of way.
Anyway, I've got Science 1st period, Health 2nd, Algebra 3rd, Lunch 4th, Art 5th, Spanish 6th, Honors Language Arts 7th, US History 8th, and Honors Reading 9th. I'm surprised I make it through every day alive. Anyway, this is Day 5 of school. I shall officially keep track.
I wish I was in a writing mood, but I'm just really tired.
Ah, wait - one thing I'd like to talk about.
Out of nowhere on Friday, I was overcome with the urge to watch Fushigi Yuugi. Now, I know this doesn't sound too weird, but I shall tell you why it is - I haven't really wanted to watch FY since around 2002. Well, I watched it, and I was surprised at how into it I really got.
Actually, I really don't know why I'm talking about that. I shall instead tell you of my accomplishments during the time I watched FY. I took upon myself a dangerous mission - one of the life-and-death things that few ever attempt.
I counted how many times Miaka says Tamahome's name in the entire first season of the series.
It was a hard, arduous journey, made up of tears, pain, and back problems, but I finally achieved my goal! Here it is, everyone, a thing that you most everyone has thought never to know....
IN SEASON ONE OF FUSHIGI YUUGI, MIAKA SAYS TAMAHOME'S NAME 243 TIMES.
Yes, folks, that's correct! 243 freakin' times! I thought I was going to go crazy! I shall reveal to you my statistics:
Episode One: 1 time
Episode Two: 1 times
Episode Three: 7 times
Episode Four: 11 times
Episode Five: 11 times
Episode Six: 4 times
Episode Seven: 8 times
Episode Eight: 14 times
Episode Nine: 11 times
Episode Ten: 10 times
Episode Eleven: 5 times
Episode Twelve: 6 times
Episode Thirteen: 8 times
Episode Fourteen: 7 times
Episode Fifteen: 1 time
Episode Sixteen: 2 times
Episode Seventeen: 9 times
Episode Eighteen: 13 times
Episode Nineteen: 30 times! YES! YOU READ RIGHT! 30 TIMES!
Episode Twenty: 15 times
Episode Twenty-one: 26 times!
Episode Twenty-two: 5 times
Episode Twenty-three: 4 times
Episode Twenty-four: 2 times
Episode Twenty-five: 12 times
Episode Twenty-six: 2 times
Episode Twenty-seven: 8 times
YOU MAY ALL APPLAUD ME NOW! I HAVE MADE ANIME HISTORY! I ACTUALLY COUNTED ALL OF THEM! BOW DOWN TO ME! MWHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!

....Okay, I'm better now. ^^
